Prospective buyers are required to show proof of funds or a mortgage qualification letter before viewing a property. During Open Houses,¶ Buffalo Home Sellers encourages sellers to follow these procedures but the final decision whether to require bank letters/POF, or to check IDs, is up to the seller.
